In a few days, this website will be no more. It will disappear from the world wide web.
This was not an easy decision to make, but it was necessary after hackers had done some serious damage.
After my web host gave me the sad news I had a choice to make: have him fix what was broken, or just let it go.
Until now I had two reasons to keep my website alive:
- I wanted my old voice over community to have continued access to the 630 blog posts I’ve written over the past 20 years
- It gave me some degree of professional credibility in the online world I am still a very active part of (I now have more followers on social media than I ever had as a blogger)
However, since I have left the voice over business, I have no need for a site that attracts clients I’ve stopped serving, and so it became an expense without a return on investment. Besides, despite getting thousands of visitors each month, there’s been little visible appreciation for the tips and stories I’ve published on this platform over the years.
To be honest, I’m okay with that. I know what I have accomplished and I am proud of my work. But I don’t want this to be a vanity project or a sad blast from the past. I have moved on, and so the time has come to unleash the wrecking ball.
If you happen to be a subscriber, a former colleague, or a fan, I thank you for your support and wish you the very best!

I’m so sorry it has to end but totally understand your decision. Thank you for all your words of wisdom and dedication to the VO industry.
See you around Sir, take care of yourself.
Many thanks to a wonderful man! I’ve been lucky to have had some great and profound conversations with you over the years and your advice was a huge help in my short career as a VO. God Bless you and keep you safe and healthy, my friend.
Hi Paul! Thank you for all you have done for the voiceover world. I, too, am a former voice actor. Please be well! All the best to you and yours! With Love, Karen Gerstman
Dang! Hackers suck. Thanks for all of the wisdom and gentle humor that you’ve shared with us. Wishing you the best, always.
Wishing you the very best for all new adventures! Thank you for your time in advising in the world of VO. It meant a lot.
So sorry to see it go, but I completely understand. You built something remarkable. People don’t always have to agree to appreciate a fellow talent. I wish you massive success in your endeavors!
A sad day Paul. But I look back at the stuff you and I have put out there over the last 20 years or so and I feel I accomplished my goals of better educating the VO world. You should feel the same. The world has changed so much over that time. The internet mediums have become dominant and keeping up with being a part of the conversation with increasingly younger people, who are more internet savvy, has become bothersome. Let’s just enjoy our retirement while everyone else flails away.
Hello. What a professional you are Paul. I’ve always appreciated your contributions when I’ve had the time to read them. In my world tou’ve always been totally on point.
All the best my good man.
Joe
Dear Paul, I’ve always respected & enjoyed your heart for this industry! Your experience & perspectives have influenced me; not “over-the-top-influence”, but enough to make me think! Thank you & I hope God blesses your path forward. Truly, Patricia
Sorry that you’ve been forced to take this action.
Best of luck for your current & any future ventures you choose to undertake.
Cheers,
